Reading gradually became my passion. Back in elementary school, I’d volunteer to dictate passages even though I was poor at English. Reading helped in this faculty. Always remember, readers are leaders. My question to you is, when was the last time you picked up a book? Not academic reading but leisure reading?
Sadly, the culture of reading is slowly fading away. George R.R. Martin once said, “a reader lives a thousand lives before he dies and a man who never reads lives only once.”
Don’t know where to start? Let me assist.
These four books I consider to be pieces of gems from four (4) important categories that shaped my life.
1.Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. This book should be implemented within school curriculums. It offers advice on financial literacy, and for the past 20 years, it has been molding individuals with money, investing, and the global economy. The book captures Robert’s story of growing up with two dads, his father, and his best friend’s father. Roberts highlighted how money shaped both men and took them on different paths.
2.Trading in The Zone by Mark Douglas. This is another book that every individual aiming to be apart of the forex market should read. If you haven’t done so, thank me later. In this book, Mark Douglas unveils the nature of trading to the core! The author opened my eyes and showed me that, trading is total freedom without rules, where rules have to be set by me AND abided by me as well!
Trading allowed me to experience complete freedom, to do what I want when I want, the freedom to analyze the markets, enter, exit whenever I like, but only very few people are ready for this freedom! Traders with few years of trading will call the content of this book obvious & self-evident; however I find it extremely useful for newbie traders!
Let us show you how our online course, Forex Blueprint goes more in-depth with trading psychology.
3.How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie. Another book that profoundly outlines the core principles of human relations. The first lesson on the secret of success is that if there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get another person’s point of view and see things from that person’s angle as well as from your own.
4) The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. This top-rated book analyzes simple strategies to help you achieve measurable results in your daily life. The reality of life is that you must make informed decisions and also take responsibility for your own actions on a consistent basis so that momentum can take its course. By doing so, success is inevitable!
I hope you get deep into these books and let us know what you think in the comments. ensure to share this article with a friend if you gained value and feel free to read on. If you’d like to be apart of our trading community where we share more educational content please join here
